Pink Fabric Necklaces

This week is National Nursing Home week, and it is being celebrated at Mom's nursing home.  The wonderful activities director has a different theme going for each day of the week, and tomorrow is pink day.  I made these pink fabric necklaces for some of the ladies.  I hope they like them!

I used fabric, styrofoam balls to keep them lightweight, and ribbon which will be used to tie them on.

The girls approve!

  2. I worked seven years as an activity director, just before retiring. I longed for more daughter's, that would take an interest in what was going on. That would come in and meet their parents friends and become social butterflies.
I love your necklaces, and I know that the ladies will love them, and love you for your sweet friendship. Thanks for being a sweetie pie to these dear souls and for brightening up their days. God bless you, Connie :)
